Nowadays, social media are wide-spread across the population, especially across youngsters. Additionally, youngsters depend more and more on digital tools like ChatGPT, Synthesia, Google Maps, etc. for their work and personal life, without fully knowing the risks that these tools bring, like the lack of privacy, creation of dependencies, and endless scrolling.
Youngsters need to find a balance between the use of such tools and creating healthy lifestyle and relationships with their peers. For this, they need to know the potential risks of digital tools and social media, and be able to avoid or deal with them. Additionally, they need to develop their self-awareness, in order to identify their goals, and harness digital tools in order to achieve those. The project aims to address these issues by bringing together young people from different cultures and backgrounds, and providing a safe space for them to discuss their usage of digital tools, and how to improve their mental wellbeing and relationships through more conscious use of these.
